Our Story

St Alban’s Church is a church community with music-filled worship, opportunities for prayer and fellowship, a children and families’ outreach, and a commitment to being a blessing in our wider world and community.

There are different ways that you can join us in connecting with God. We enjoy the presence of God through the beauty of our Anglican liturgy with traditional hymns and contemporary songs, quiet and reflective weekday communions, occasional services with other local churches and through the fun and fellowship of children and families gatherings.

We offer opportunities for you to discover, grow and deepen your Christian life, through study groups, prayer, and fellowship groups such as women’s evenings, men’s group and community gatherings. Our children and families programme is rebuilding after Covid, and features seasonal events with creative activities.

Our mother church in Ngaio Street is currently closed for earthquake strengthening, so we meet on Sunday mornings in San Antonio Catholic Church in Oroua Street. Our parish office is in our parish hall next to St Alban’s Church in Ngaio Street, Eastbourne.

This will be for the sale of quality women’s clothing, jewellery, shoes and handbags and men’s suits and jackets. If you are planning to reorganise your wardrobe, would you please consider saving the best items for us? We will need clothes hangers for each item as well. Also, does anyone have a mobile clothing rack they could lend us please? You could bring the items to Church from now on, or contact Phyllis on 021 263 1319 for collection. See MoreSee Less
