Our Story
St Alban’s Church is a welcoming Anglican church community, meeting in the heart of Eastbourne, a people of worship, friendship, prayer and belonging. Together we’re working to grow in faith, deepen our connection with God, and serve our wider community.
There are lots of ways to become part of the life of St. Alban’s. We enjoy the presence of God though the beauty of Anglican liturgy with hymns and contemporary songs, quiet and reflective weekday communions, shared services with our neighbouring Eastbourne churches and opportunities for contemplation and karakia.
We offer study and fellowship groups, community events, and social groups including for our tamariki and whānau. Our families ministry includes creative seasonal events and activities for all ages.
Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after time away, or searching for a spiritual home, you are warmly welcome here. We value manaakitanga, hospitality, and caring for one another as we journey together in faith.
While our historic church building in Ngaio Street undergoes earthquake strengthening we currently gather for Sunday worship at 9.30am at San Antonio Catholic Church in Oroua Street. Our parish office remains in the parish hall beside St. Alban’s Church.
